Solar Art's Goals

Solar Art’s goals for this installation were to help the homeowner find a window film solution that would significantly reduce heat in the home. To accomplish this goal, our sales representative from our San Francisco office met with the homeowner at the home to take a look at the problematic glass and show them samples that would best fit their needs.

Solar Art's Suggestions

While meeting with the customer, our sales representative learned that the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, and office had problematic glass that let in a ton of heat. The homeowner explained to our representative that they were looking for a heat-reducing window film that wasn’t going to change the aesthetics of the home. After meeting with the homeowner and hearing what their goals were, our sales representative was ready to make some recommendations. Our representative recommended a ceramic window tint for this project. He suggested a ceramic window tint first and foremost because it will significantly reduce heat and reduce glare in the home. Ceramic window tint contains no metals or dye, which means it isn’t going to change the aesthetics of the home, which is the second reason why our representative suggested it for this homeowner.

What the Customer Chose

After the homeowner met with our team and saw the different window film options available, the homeowner decided to take our sales representative’s suggestion and move forward with ceramic window tint. The ceramic window tint the homeowner chose reduces 55% of heat, 53% of glare, and 99% of ultraviolet rays. This is going to make the home more comfortable without changing its look or feel.

Results of the Window Film Installation

This installation ended up being 200 square feet of ceramic window tint and took 2 of our expert installers 5.5 hours to complete. Overall, this home window tinting project was a success. We were able to successfully help the homeowner find a window film solution that reduces heat and reduces glare without changing the look of the home. In addition to ceramic window tint and solar film, Solar Art also services decorative window film, window graphics, wall graphics, anti-graffiti film, and window security film.
