Solar Art Window Film Announces Acquisition of San Diego Glass Coatings

San Diego, California, March 17^th, 2015 – Solar Art today announced the acquisition of San Diego Glass Coatings, a privately held company headquartered in San Diego, CA. SDGC has been serving the San Diego commercial window film and graphics market for over 30 years with an active customer base which includes property managers, general contractors, glass companies, architects and various city agencies.

Matthew Darienzo, CEO of Solar Art commented on the acquisition. “The acquisition of San Diego Glass Coatings was a perfect fit for our continued expansion into the San Diego market. SDGC has been a leader in the San Diego market for many years and we plan to continue that tradition.”

John Jackson, former owner of SDGC will stay on as the Sales Manager for the San Diego location. John Jackson commented on the acquisition, “This was a perfect opportunity for me to step away from the day to day operations and concentrate on a sales role. I am confident Solar Art has the ability to take this company to the next level with its expanded reach and resources.” The new company will operate out of SDGC’s existing location.
