Seattle, Washington, August 23rd, 2017 – Solar Art today announced the acquisition of ABC Sun Control, a privately held company headquartered in Puyallup, WA. ABC Sun Control is one of the oldest residential and commercial window film companies in the Seattle/Tacoma market and has been serving the greater Seattle area for over 40 years. They specialize in all types of applications including solar, security, graffiti, and decorative window film products.
While this is the 6th acquisition in the last six years for Solar Art, this is the first out of state acquisition that will expand their reach and customer base out of the California area and into the Pacific Northwest Region. Matthew Darienzo, CEO of Solar Art commented on the acquisition: “We are happy to continue our expansion on the West Coast. ABC has a long history in this market and we are proud to be a part of its growing legacy. Scott Steckler, former owner of ABC Sun Control will stay on in an outside sales role for the company".
