Solar Art installed ceramic window tint to a home in Brentwood, California! The customer has a beautiful, open concept home with lots of windows and glass doors. They love how much natural light they have in their living room and that they hardly ever have to turn on the actual lights. They also have complete views into their gorgeous backyard. They recently got all new living room furniture because their old set was faded from the sun. Their biggest priority was protecting their new furniture from sun fading, but they were also looking to reduce heat and reduce glare. You can see in the photo what the customer is talking about with the sun shining through the glass and hitting the furniture and walls. The homeowner reached out to Solar Art to learn more about window film and what different options they have.
Our sales representative met with the customer at their home to learn more about the project and see what the customers goals were. After seeing the space and learning that the customer doesn’t want to lose their views or darken their home, our sales representative suggested installing a Huper Optik ceramic window tint. Ceramic window tint is a type of solar film. It contains no metals or dyes, meaning the customer's home isn’t going to get noticeably darker. Ceramic window tint has a soft, neutral shade that will keep the aesthetics the same. Ceramic window tint is a heat blocking window film that will block 63% of heat from entering the home. In addition to reducing heat, ceramic window tint will block 62% of glare, making a noticeable difference in comfort. Lastly, we have the customer’s biggest issue, which was sun fading. Ceramic window tint will block 86% of infrared rays and 99.9% of UVA and UVB rays. This will not only protect their new furniture from sun fading, it will protect their loved was from the harmful rays as well. Ceramic window tint is easily removable with no damage to the glass surface. Ceramic window tint is a little bit pricier than a standard solar film due to the advanced technology, but the customer was okay with the price because it checked off everything they were looking for. They were extremely happy with the results of the installation. They noticed a significant difference when it came to heat and glare and they felt both their family and valuable furniture was protected from the sun's harmful rays. Ceramic window tint also works great in office settings if you are trying to keep your office light and airy while also cool and comfortable.
