Solar Art installed a building wrap to a commercial building in Sherman Oaks, California. The building owner wanted to give the building a brand new makeover. Tenants in the building were complaining about the heat radiating in the building from the afternoon sun. They were having a difficult time concentrating because the heat was so overwhelming and the glare from the sun prevented them from being able to see their computer screen. The owner was not only concerned about the heat, he was concerned about the overall appearance of the building. In Los Angeles especially, appearance is very important. No building owner wants to have the old, outdated building on the street. He was worried he would lose his tenants to another newer building on the block. While the building owner had a lot of concerns with the building and wanted to do a complete makeover, he was worried about pricing. The cost of completely redoing a building, especially of this size, can get very expensive very quickly. He was looking for an affordable way to redesign the building, while still staying within budget. He reached out to Solar Art to see what his window film options were.

After speaking with our sales representatives, they decided to have a building wrap installed. The building wrap they decided to install was completed with a silver exterior window film. In addition to the exterior window film, Solar Art also painted the spandrel glass with a fresh coat of black and added red vinyl wrap accents for a unique design factor that would really make this building stand out! The silver exterior window film is a heat blocking window film that can block up to 75% of heat that enters the building and blocks 99% of UVA and UVB rays. It will also significantly reduce glare from blocking computer screens. The silver exterior window film is a mirrored film or a one way window film. It is a reflective window film that will prevent outsiders from being able to see in, but will still allow the ability to see out. A building wrap gives the building a uniform look which makes the building have great curb appeal. A building wrap is an affordable and easy way to completely redo a building all while staying within budget. The owner of the building was extremely pleased with the outcome of the building wrap installation. He stayed within his budget, his tenants were happier and more comfortable and he now has the best looking building on the street! In addition to a building wrap, Solar Art also services solar film, anti graffiti film, security window film, decorative window film and custom graphics. Contact Solar Art today for a free quote!
