The windows are floor to ceiling and let in a ton of natural light, which is what tends to bring the heat and glare. There are employees that work and have their desks in the storefront area and get really uncomfortable, especially in the afternoon. The glare reflecting off the glass makes it really hard to see computer screens and productivity actually decreases. The business owner didn’t want shades or blinds because they didn’t want the store to appear dark and uninviting.
