Solar Art installed 3M Milano to a business in Santa Clara, California! Just like the many other customers we have, this customer was looking for increased privacy. This office space was brand new and they hadn’t even moved in yet. When the business owner and the tenants were moving in they realized how much glass is throughout the office. The conference rooms were made up of glass walls as were some of the private offices. They quickly realized they were going to need a way to increase privacy while important meetings were going on. They wanted something that wouldn’t take away from the look of the office or look unprofessional. After learning about the different films that were available, the customer decided on 3M Milano. 3M Milano is a kind of frosted window film. It is actually a little more opaque than a standard frosted window film, which means it is more difficult to see through. 3M Milano gives a clean and professional look that won’t throw off the look of the office. The business owner also decided they wanted a design factor as well. They decided to have stripes of the 3M Milano on the glass with a three inch reveal. Since they wanted the same size stripes and the same size reveal, our installation crew is able to do that themselves on site. More complicated or complex designs have to be done by our in house graphics team to produce and then our installers can install it. The business owner decided they wanted to do a design with the 3M Milano because it would give their office a custom look.
