In remembrance of 9/11, Solar Art would like to acknowledge all of our US Vets and their families who served after the attacks on 9/11. Together we remember, reflect, honor, and mourn. Today we would like to honor Solar Art employee and US Veteran, Chan “Shawn” Rith, for your service in the US Military! Chan served in both Operation Free Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Tell us about your military service?
I am a combat veteran who was a 3rd Battalion Ranger in the US Army from 1999-2013.
How long have you worked for Solar Art?
I am a window film “Installer” at Solar Art. I was originally working for Amersol here in Dallas, Texas, and in the spring of 2022, Solar Art acquired Amersol.
What’s your favorite thing about working at Solar Art?
I like that Solar Art is modernizing the window film industry by utilizing technology. I also like that everyone at Solar Art cares about one another. I never feel like just an employee. I feel taken care of. It’s a great company to be a part of.
What is your favorite perk?
I really have enjoyed the Health and Wellness Perk at Solar Art. I enjoy exercising, as well as playing basketball.
