Anti-Graffiti Film in Oakland, California

Do you own or work in a commercial space that frequently gets vandalized or damaged? If so, you’re probably frustrated with having to constantly replace the glass. Replacing glass is a big expense that you shouldn’t have to constantly be worried about. If you are in this situation, we have a case study for you! Solar Art recently installed anti-graffiti film to an apartment complex in Oakland, California! The first story of the complex was frequently getting tagged, etched, and scratched. The business owner was tired of replacing the glass and looked for solutions online. In his search, he came across Solar Art’s website where he read about anti-graffiti film and how it protects glass from different types of vandalism, including graffiti and etching. The business owner decided to reach out for a free window film consultation to see if anti-graffiti film is a good fit for the apartment complex!

Solar Art's Goals

Solar Art’s goals for this project were to meet with the property manager at the complex to show them samples of anti-graffiti film and explain how it can benefit the apartment complex. While onsite with the property manager, our sales representative from our San Francisco office learned that the first floor of the building was repeatedly getting damaged, and replacing the glass was getting to be very costly, not to mention it is unsightly for current and potential new residents. They were looking for a way to protect the glass from vandalism as well as everyday wear and tear.

What Solar Art Suggested

After meeting with the property manager and hearing about the different problems the apartment complex was having, our sales representative was ready to make some suggestions. He suggested Madico 6-mil graffiti film. He suggested this window film because it is a quality product that will protect the glass not only from graffiti, but everyday wear and tear like key scratches.

What the Customer Chose

Once the customer met with our sales representative, heard his suggestions, and saw samples, he decided to move forward with the Madico 6-mil anti-graffiti film. Anti-graffiti film is an optically clear layer of window film that is installed directly onto glass surfaces and starts providing immediate protection. Anti-graffiti film protects against vandalism, scratches, etches, and more. If vandalism or damage does occur, the anti-graffiti film is what takes the wrath of the damage, not your glass. In this case, all you would have to do is call up Solar Art and we will get you a quote to remove your damaged film and replace it with a fresh new layer. From there, our expert installation crew will go onsite, remove the damaged anti-graffiti film, and install a new, clean layer as soon as possible. You don’t have to do anything and replacing window film is a fraction of the cost of replacing glass itself. You can have peace of mind knowing your space is safe and protected at all times.

Results of the Window Film Installation

This installation was 143 panes and 1,614 square feet of anti-graffiti film. It took a team of installers 5 days to complete. Overall, this installation was a success because we were able to help the customer find a window film solution for their vandalism problem. In addition to anti-graffiti film, Solar Art also services solar film, decorative window film, custom graphics, security film, and exterior building wraps.
